Alex’s athletic background and clinical experience in Canada and England have contributed to his versatility in providing care.  His appreciation for the complexity of the human body is reflected by the personalised rehabilitation he provides each of his clients. His clinical experience includes acute intensive care, inpatient geriatric care, outpatient neuro and orthopaedics. He is passionate about working with clients who have sustained injuries or pathologies due to sports, work or motor vehicle related impairments.

As an athlete, Alex is a team player with a lifelong participation in sport.  He was introduced to the world of sports rehabilitation in undergrad where he worked as the athletic trainer for the Varsity Men’s Basketball team.  He has competed at high levels in a number of sports including hockey, soccer and basketball. In 2016, Alex helped lead the Oxford University Blues Ice Hockey Club to a British University National Championship and was named finals Most Valuable Player.

Alex’s background in education has firmly rooted his belief in the importance of lifelong professional learning.  He is eager to continue to add to his current body of knowledge and with Ontario registration plans to pursue ongoing Bobath education, as well as courses in acupuncture, manual therapy and Kinesio Taping.

Alex is in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario, and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (Neurosciences Division) and the Ontario Physiotherapy Association.
