The Bobath™ Concept
Body Weight Support Treadmill Training
Body Weight Support Treadmill (BWSTT) Training provides a safe way to stand, step, and run without the fear of falling. We use the LiteGait system which includes a secure harness that safely suspends you while you practice standing and stepping forwards and backwards with your therapist. The amount of suspension provided is adjustable to ensure you weight bear at the most appropriate level. We will educate you and your chosen friends or family to ensure safe wheelchair mobility and environment negotiation takes place to maximize your independence.
