  • IBITA Basic Bobath Certified therapist for treatment of adults with neurological conditions
  • Shoulder Complex & Thoracic Spine – Advanced Physical Therapy Education Institute Training

Michelle’s passion lies in neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Michelle started her career as a Physiotherapist with the inpatient spinal cord rehabilitation program at the Lyndurst Centre, Toronto Rehab Institute. Her other clinical areas of experience includes stroke and musculoskeletal rehabilitation at the University Centre, Toronto Rehab Institute prior to joining Neurocore.

Michelle values participation in provincial and national conferences to expand her clinical skill set and to promote patient advocacy.  She regularly attends conferences held by the Canadian Physiotherapy and Ontario Physiotherapy Associations such as Congress, InterACTION and the Canadian Seating and Mobility conference. Michelle remains connected with the University of Toronto Physical Therapy Program, and has acted as a ground and lab facilitator during the neurological rehabilitation unit. She also frequently takes on students for their clinical internships. 

Michelle is a strong advocate for the physiotherapy profession. Currently, she is the President of the Central Toronto District of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association, and has been an active member of the committee since 2013. She is involved in supporting and promoting the profession through various activities including: Physiotherapy Month events, Annual General Meetings, provision of grants and bursaries for conferences and research, and student engagement including assisting with the physiotherapy student-run tent for the Toronto Goodlife Marathon.

Michelle is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association – Neurosciences Division.  Michelle is fluent in Vietnamese.
