Sheldon is a Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy assistant and graduated from the Humber College Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physiotherapy Assistant Program in 2011. Sheldon’s professional development includes completing the KT1 and KT 2 – Kinesiotaping courses and is a Kinesiotape practitioner. He is a Certified Bioflex Laser therapist and completed his certification at Meditech Int. for the application of Low Level Laser Therapy. Sheldon is also certified in FCE – Functional Capacity Evaluations conducting assessments to assist with return to work programs. Sheldon has also complete the Bobath Concept Health Care Providers course through the Canadian Bobath Instructors Association in May 2017 to further compliment his clinical practice.

Sheldon’s clinical ongoing position as a PTA/OTA at Trillium Health Partners complements his role when serving Neurocore’s clients treated in acute hospital settings. Sheldon experience extends to working with individuals diagnosed with complex orthopaedic or complex neurological conditions such as brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and stroke.  His community practice includes implementing return to work programs, returns to sports protocols and working with individuals post-op.
