Yvonne has a keen interest in orthopaedic and neuro rehabilitation. Her clinical experience includes acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, as well as outpatient neuro and orthopaedics. Her attraction to neuro rehab started during one of her clinical placements working with post-stroke patients on the rehabilitation ward. Since then, Yvonne has pursued further education in the Bobath concept to expand her knowledge and treatment techniques to serve neuro and orthopaedic populations.

Yvonne is passionate about active living and enjoys working with patients to achieve their individual wellness goals. Through her personal rehab journey as a result of multiple knee injuries, Yvonne has developed an appreciation for the complexity of a rehab experience. She firmly believes in a multi-faceted approach to functional treatment through patient education, a variety of active exercises, , and manual techniques. 

Yvonne strongly believes in lifelong learning and is eager to continue her education through additional courses in acupuncture and concussion rehabilitation.

As an avid basketball and spikeball player, Yvonne also enjoys exploring a variety of sports to understand movement patterns and appreciate the demands of sport on the body. Ultimate frisbee, bouldering, volleyball, running, and hiking are a few of the many activities that she enjoys participating in during her free time.

Yvonne is a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. 

She is fluent in English and Cantonese.
